Jupiter Florida Photography by Halle Morgan Photography
Halle Morgan takes a natural approach to creating heirloom imagery for individuals and families. I love to photograph you in real, meaningful settings that convey the essence of who you are and what you love. I work hard to make sure the entire process is stress-free for our clients from start to finish, with the end result being beautifully crafted photo prints and products to be treasured for many years to come. I’ve been a photographer since 2012 and have created for a wide variety of clients. Many of the people I’ve photograph become friends for years to come. I completely and absolutely love what I do!
If this is your family’s first time working with a professional photographer, it can be difficult to know what to expect. What should I bring? Will there be enough time to get the perfect picture? Will my child feel uncomfortable in front of the camera? I completely understand these feelings of concern; you are not alone! I am here to work for and with you to make your session as stress-free as possible. Remember, this is supposed to be fun! My method of working is simple: I tailor my photography to you and your family. Each session is a unique experience, built from the ground up just for you. In our initial consultation, we’ll discuss things like the family schedule, favorite locations, and attention spans to make your photo day a smashing success. This is your day to relax and enjoy your family; I’ll do the rest!
When scheduling an outdoor portrait session you may notice that I recommend shooting during a very precise time of day-generally the last sixty to ninety minutes before the sun has completely set. This special window known to photographers as “The Golden Hour” is the period of time when the light from the sun is at its most perfect. With its long rays diffused across the entire sky, the light creates a flattering glow and shimmer for picture perfect skin tones and deliciously warm portraits. I also recommend morning sessions. Early morning sessions provide a more ethereal feel to portraits that I love as well.
If we’ve chosen an outdoor location for your photos, we will most likely be at the mercy of the weather! If the day turns out to be extremely hot, which can be dangerous and frustrating for the family, we’ll find an alternate date for the photos. Similarly, for rainstorms, snow, or extreme cold, I’d rather reschedule than push everyone into an uncomfortable place! I will be in communication the day before and day of the session to discuss any challenges that may arise and deal with them in the most convenient way possible for your family.
Below is some general information about Jupiter Florida:
Jupiter Florida is a town on the southeastern coast of Florida located in Palm Beach County. Don’t let the lavish mansions of Jupiter fool you – locals love Jupiter, Florida, for its breathtaking natural scenery, laidback tiki bars and endless ways to play in its star attraction: the water.
Encompassing nearly 40 miles and multiple rivers, the Jupiter Waterway Trail carves out a natural playground of surfing beaches, crystal-clear inlets and lush coastal rivers waiting to reveal their secrets.
Hop in a canoe and navigate the cypress and mangrove swamps of the Loxahatchee River, one of only two rivers in Florida with a “Wild and Scenic” designation. A popular shove-off point is Riverbend Park, which also offers horse trails and hiking through Seminole Indian historic sites. Right in town, the turquoise lagoons of DuBois Park and Jupiter Beach Park are ideal for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling.
There’s plenty to do on dry land in Jupiter, too. Towering above the coast, the brick-red Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse is one of the oldest and most iconic structures in The Palm Beaches. Climb all 105 feet to the top for a gull’s-eye view of the coast; afterwards, wear your best flip-flops to Guanabana’s, Square Grouper Tiki Bar and other low-key local favorites for fresh-caught seafood, tropical drinks and killer views (you can even arrive by boat).
Things to do
Create new family memories when you get up close to 1,000-plus animals as you drive through Lion Country Safari or meet animals of the tropics at the Palm Beach Zoo. Scream at the top of your lungs when you experience that “zero-g feeling” riding Big Thunder at Rapids Water Park. After the thrills, be sure to let the family experience some Florida history and panoramic scenery at the historic Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse & Museum.
For those that love to play in the sun, this is where you’ll find the most adventuresome things to do in Florida. Start the day watching the sun rise out of the Atlantic from peaceful Delray Beach atop your stand-up paddleboard. For some real adventure, get up close to gators on a Florida Everglades airboat tour with Airboat Rides West Palm Beach, or come face to face with moray eels while diving at Blue Heron Bridge, one of Florida’s best SCUBA diving sites. And no Florida getaway is complete without a round of golf in The Palm Beaches at one of more than 160 golf courses in Florida’s Golf Capital.
After hours, West Palm Beach attractions lure you out to let loose and play in the tropics. Hit the boutiques and national brand shops at CityPlace and then hop on the free trolley to Clematis Street, where the warm ocean air makes walking between The Palm Beaches’ best nightspots a breeze — literally. Enjoy a craft cocktail at the vintage-themed gastropub The Alchemist and then dance at the beach house-inspired club, Camelot.
To explore The Palm Beaches further, try the first fully interactive Selfie Trail in The Palm Beaches — perfect for the pics-or-it-didn’t-happen crew.
